Wood working

We have a fully equipped wood shop, that has been operating for many years and has created countless products that you can find in our gift shop! Supported persons are involved in choosing and creating items that are compatible with their skill and ability level, and efforts are made to further develop those skills. The team has created various art, bird feeders, crib boards, skewer racks, yard games, growth charts, and more!

Art Studio

The art studio is a productive team approach to tackling new trending items and working together to create more products for purchase. They create items such as; candles, rice bags for sore muscles, macrame decor and plant hangers, braided hangers, and a variety of 3D printed items.

SENIORS PROGRAM

Our seniors program keeps in mind the challenges of living with disabilities, while focusing on providing fun and meaningful activities, projects, day trips, exercise groups, volunteering, and community opportunities.

“TAKE CARE CLEANING AND YARD CARE”

Provides supported employment opportunities for program participants, where after demonstrating appropriate skills, participants are able to be hired to work out in the community, and assist with contracted job opportunities such as cleaning and yard care at various local businesses.

VOLUNTEER WORK AND SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT

Staff work with various businesses in the area to develop volunteer and paid employment opportunities for program participants on an individual basis. Interests and abilities are assessed, and opportunities are pursued, with varying degrees of staff support to ensure a meaningful work experience.
